A resident of Astana found a 'job' on the social network Instagram and attempted to set fire to a residential building for $2,000. However, his actions ended in failure, and by court verdict he was sentenced to 3 years and 6 months in prison.

According to the investigation, the young man prepared special incendiary devices and threw them at the wall of the house. At that time, people were inside. The fire posed a direct threat to their lives and health.

The court found him guilty of attempted destruction of someone else's property and, taking into account his previous criminal record, sentenced him to 3 years and 6 months in prison. This incident caused a great public outcry.
