The Astana Police Department, as a result of a month-long investigation, detained a group of 5 people involved in car thefts.
Over the past 6 months, the group managed to steal 23 cars in the capital. Their total value exceeds 350 million tenge. Most of the stolen cars were taken abroad.
The criminals were arrested and sent for investigation. It was announced that the investigation will be conducted jointly with neighboring countries.
