Famous journalist Nursейіt Zhylkyshybai addressed singers, bloggers, and media representatives, urging them to approach politics responsibly, reports the Todayinfo.kz news agency.
In his social media post, he criticized representatives of the show business and media sectors for striving to become deputies on behalf of political parties.
"They say the parliament will be dissolved and a new constituent assembly will be formed. We never tire of hearing the story that 'everything will be fine'... There is one request. Singers, journalists, bloggers, and KVN performers – please do not rush to become 'people's representatives' on behalf of a party," he said.
According to the journalist, parliament is a crucial institution where the fate of the country is decided.
"This is not a studio for eloquent speeches or a stage; this is a place where the fate of the state is determined," he said.
