Kazakhstan's largest bank, Halyk Bank, has announced the opening of 200 new digital branches over the next 18 months. Total investment amounts to 45 billion tenge.
In the new-format branches, the number of employees will be reduced, and all services will be provided through interactive terminals. Clients will be able to manage their accounts, loans, and deposits independently.
Bank executives believe this step will reduce costs by 30% and increase customer service speed.
