During the solemn ceremony, the award was presented by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China, Wang Yi. Foreign diplomats, representatives of local and international media attended the tribute paid to the Embassy of Kazakhstan. Speaking at the award ceremony, Shakhrat Nuryshev stated that he considers this award not as a personal achievement, but as a result of the stable and reliable relationship between Kazakhstan and China.
— I consider this award not only as a recognition of my work, but as an assessment of the development of ties between Kazakhstan and China. My professional activity is closely linked to strengthening cooperation between the two countries. During this time, I have contributed to the implementation of major joint projects with China and gained trust. Today, Kazakhstan has become not only an economic partner for China, but also a reliable neighboring state," said the ambassador.
According to the data, last year the trade turnover between Kazakhstan and China reached 47.7 billion dollars. Currently, more than 70 investment projects are being implemented between the two countries. In addition, joint projects aimed at developing railway infrastructure are also being actively carried out.
— Our country is interested in maintaining stability in the Eurasian space and in the world. In this regard, I express my gratitude to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China for contributing to the development of bilateral relations. I believe that the reliable friendship between Kazakhstan and China will serve the benefit of both peoples," said Shakhrat Nuryshev.
It should be noted that Shakhrat Nuryshev was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to the People's Republic of China in 2022.
