International Nurses Day, celebrated annually on May 12, was solemnly observed in Kazakhstan this year, reports Todayinfo. This day is dedicated to recognizing the tireless work of nurses – some of the most crucial figures in the healthcare sector.
A festive event was also organized at one of the country's largest medical centers, the Research Institute of Cardiology and Internal Diseases (RICID). The institute's management congratulated the nurses on their professional holiday, particularly highlighting their role in the healthcare system.
"Nurses are the heart of our medical institutions. Their daily diligent work, compassion for patients, and professional skill form the foundation of our successes," stated Askar Smagulov, the institute's director.
During the event, several outstanding nurses were presented with Certificates of Honor and Letters of Gratitude. They were thanked for their contribution to the development of healthcare and their dedicated service. The invaluable role of nurses in patient care, assisting doctors, and performing medical procedures was emphasized.
