The Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan has announced the redistribution of 260,000 tonnes of export oil volumes, reports Todayinfo news agency.

“Due to the adjustment of the transit schedule via the Druzhba system towards Germany (Schwedt refinery) for May 2026, the Ministry of Energy reports a planned redistribution of 260,000 tonnes of export oil. These volumes will be sent via alternative and technically proven routes: 100,000 tonnes to the port of Ust-Luga and 160,000 tonnes to the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) system,” said official representative of the ministry, Assel Serikpayeva.

“The redirection of flows has been agreed with shippers and is operational in nature. We emphasize that the change in transport routes does not affect the execution of the annual oil production plan. The existing transport infrastructure allows Kazakhstan to fully ensure export stability and uninterrupted supply of raw materials to global markets,” Serikpayeva noted.

Earlier, it was reported that Russia intends to halt oil exports from Kazakhstan to Germany via the Druzhba pipeline from May 1.
