Ready to apologize: Kazakhstan Football Federation sues journalist Yermukhamed Maulen

Kazakh sports journalist and commentator Yermukhamed Maulen announced that the Kazakhstan Football Federation (KFF) has filed a lawsuit against him, reports Todayinfo.kz. He stated this in an interview with the YouTube channel 'Birinshi Bol'. According to the journalist, he was recently summoned to the police and informed about a complaint from the KFF. A pre-trial investigation is currently underway.

"I was called to the police. It turned out that the KFF filed a complaint against me and went to court. I met with the investigator and answered his questions," said Yermukhamed Maulen.

The dispute may have arisen due to the journalist's statements or published materials. According to him, a linguistic expert examination has been ordered. It should determine whether his words contain defamatory statements or violations of the law. Maulen himself said he is calm about the situation and is ready to admit his mistake if proven.

"A linguistic examination is currently underway. If my words offended anyone, I am ready to apologize," he noted.
