The Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan forecasts that this year's harvest will exceed 17 million tons. This is 2 million tons more than last year.
According to the minister, export volume will reach 12 million tons. The main buyer countries are Iran, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and Afghanistan.
35% of the new harvest is export-quality wheat. On the world market, the average price per ton remains at $280.
