The Kazakhstan boxing team returned from the World Championships in Tashkent with 5 gold, 3 silver and 4 bronze medals. In the overall standings, our country took first place.
Gold medalists: Yerbol Satybaldiev (60 kg), Aibek Oralbai (75 kg), Bekzat Kanaybaev (81 kg), Ali Akpalaev (91 kg) and Nurlan Saparbay (+91 kg).
The head coach noted that the team had been preparing for this result for four years. At the upcoming Olympics, Kazakh boxers are among the favorites.
