More than a hundred journalists from 90 countries around the world gathered in Beijing, the capital of China. Over the next three months, they will familiarize themselves with China's political, economic, technological, and cultural life and exchange experiences in leading media outlets, as reported by Todayinfo.kz.

The 2026 China International Press Communication Center (CIPCC) program has officially commenced. Media representatives from Central Asia, Africa, Eastern Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East are participating in it. Kazakhstani journalists have also not been left out of this important platform for international media exchange.

Within the framework of the program, participants will undergo internships in China's leading media outlets and familiarize themselves with the country's technological potential, digital development model, and media ecosystem. According to the plan, journalists will visit centers focused on artificial intelligence, robotics, new media, and high-tech production to learn about innovative projects.

In addition, participants will gain experience in major Chinese media organizations, including news outlets such as CGTN, Xinhua News Agency, and People’s Daily. This will allow journalists to gain a deeper understanding of the specifics of international media work.

One of the important aspects of the program is the simultaneous cultural immersion alongside professional experience. Participants will visit historical sites in China and get closely acquainted with the local lifestyle, social system, and daily life features. Such an experience will broaden their understanding of the country and contribute to strengthening mutual connections between different cultures.

In recent years, China has been prioritizing international education, technology, media, and cultural ties. Beijing today has become not only a political center but also an important hub for innovation and international communication. Modern infrastructure, widespread use of digital technologies, and rapid development rates are among the main features defining the country's current image.

The main goal of the CIPCC program is to establish stable professional connections among journalists from different countries, share experiences, and develop international information exchange. According to the organizers, such projects expand the professional horizons of media representatives and enhance mutual understanding between states.

In the current era of globalization, the role of information is increasing. Such international programs can be considered not just internships for journalists, but opportunities for new experiences, new connections, and a deeper understanding of the world.
