The National Bank of Kazakhstan is set to release a new 1000 tenge collector coin dedicated to the 2026 FIFA World Cup, reports Todayinfo.

According to the National Bank's press service, collectible silver coins from the "Sport" series, specifically "FIFA World Cup 2026," will go on sale starting May 5.

These coins are crafted from 925 sterling silver with gilding and feature color printing technology. Each coin weighs 20 grams, has a diameter of 37 millimeters, boasts "proof" quality, and carries a nominal value of 1000 tenge.

The reverse side of the coin displays the flags of Canada, the USA, and Mexico in the upper part, representing the host countries of the final stage of the championship. The center features a globe with continents and the inscription "FIFA WORLD CUP 26 TM."

At the bottom, the FIFA World Cup trophy is depicted, flanked by silhouettes of footballers against the backdrop of a football's outline.

It is important to note that only 2000 copies of this collector's coin will be issued, making it a rare item that not everyone will be able to acquire.
