After the completion of airports in Katon-Karagay, Zaysan, Arkalyk and Kendirli, Kazakhstan plans to launch new air routes, reports Todayinfo news agency.
According to the Ministry of Transport, the new routes will cover key cities and tourist zones of the country, including direct flights from Astana, Almaty and Atyrau.
Planned routes:
- Almaty – Kendirli
- Atyrau – Kendirli
- Astana – Kendirli
- Almaty – Zaysan
- Astana – Zaysan
- Almaty – Arkalyk
- Astana – Arkalyk
- Astana – Katon-Karagay
- Almaty – Katon-Karagay
The ministry noted that airlines for these routes will be selected on a competitive basis in accordance with the government-approved rules for subsidizing air routes.
