A new obligation concerning the procedure for granting annual paid labor leave to employees will be introduced for Kazakhstani employers, reports Todayinfo.
This change is being considered within the framework of amendments to the Labor Code. The new requirements are aimed at strict adherence to vacation schedules, accurate calculation of vacation pay, and timely disbursement.
Representatives of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population noted that the primary goal of this measure is to protect employees' rights and ensure compliance with labor legislation. Furthermore, it may become mandatory to maintain all vacation-related information in a digital format.
"Our main goal is to increase transparency in labor relations and ensure the full realization of employees' right to leave. The new obligations will help employers systematize the process of granting vacations," — stated a ministry representative.
These changes will require employers to review their leave granting processes and align them with the new requirements. This move is expected to strengthen discipline and accountability in the labor market.
