Following the instruction of the region's akim Berik Uali, hot water supply to residential buildings in Semey has begun. There are 697 houses connected to the hot water system in the city. Today, 685 of them received hot water.
Last summer, the head of the region said that ways to solve the problem of stable hot water supply for residents of Semey during the summer would be considered.
Following the instruction of the region's akim, this issue was thoroughly studied, an appropriate analysis was conducted, and specific ways to solve the problem that had remained unresolved for many years in the regional center were identified. Preliminary preparatory work was carried out. As part of the preparation for the last heating season, 23 heating centers and 22 km of heating networks were repaired for a total of 12.6 billion tenge.
"On the left bank of Semey, there are 277 houses. Currently, 270 are connected to hot water, and repair work is underway on the pipelines of 7 houses. On the right bank, out of 420 houses connected to the hot water system, 415 are connected to hot water, and repair work is underway in 5 houses," said Adilet Kozhanbaev, akim of Semey.
Although heating in Semey was turned off from April 21, the issue of hot water supply was resolved promptly. On the left bank, hot water is supplied to residential buildings from CHP-1, on the right bank – from the Gabbasov, "MEN", and RK-3 boiler houses.
The 2025–2026 heating season in the regional center passed stably. All work on the heating systems was carried out in a timely manner. The heat sources operated in normal mode.
