Cole Tomas Allen has been officially charged with attempting to assassinate US President Donald Trump, reports Todayinfo.
The incident occurred during a press conference. Allen was arrested on suspicion of trying to kill Trump. This is the third attempt on the US president's life since 2024.
“We are thoroughly investigating this incident. The suspect's actions are classified as a serious crime,” said a representative of the federal investigation service.
Allen is currently in custody. His upcoming court hearing is expected. Investigation activities are ongoing.
