Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev initiated the large-scale environmental campaign and addressed the participants.

On this day, the Ethnopark named after the 10th anniversary of Kazakhstan's independence in Karaganda became the main greening site.
About five thousand people gathered here — activists, youth, volunteers, and concerned residents.

They planted one and a half thousand seedlings of pine, birch, and poplar.

Akim of the region Yermaganbet Bulekpaev thanked the participants for their care for their native land and contribution to creating a comfortable green urban environment.

– On the initiative of the President of the country, the national project "Taza Kazakhstan" was launched two years ago. Residents of the region are actively participating: planting trees, collecting garbage, tidying up yards. Business representatives also did not stand aside — enterprise teams supported this initiative. In the future, we will all continue to work together. In total, about 60 thousand trees are planned to be planted in the region this year. Each seedling requires proper care, and in this regard, the recommendations of specialists are very important, – said Yermaganbet Bulekpaev.

A large role in the formation of ecological culture is assigned to young people.

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev once again noted this in his address.

Sultan Shaimaganbet, head of the republican headquarters "Zhasyl El" in the Karaganda region, is confident that participation in every environmental campaign does not go unnoticed.

– Today, many young people gathered here. "Taza Kazakhstan" is a very important ideological initiative. By planting trees, young people will think about their further care and growth. This stimulates them to learn more about plants, master proper planting and growing methods, – said the leader of the green movement.

In the ethnopark, 200 seedlings of serviceberry brought from the Karkaraly National Park were also planted.

Through this initiative, employees showed that "Taza Kazakhstan" resonates with the international environmental campaign "March of Parks".
