Within a few hours, participants significantly improved the sanitary condition of the coast. Bags full of garbage, cleaned areas, and tidied recreation spots are the result of joint labor. Organizers noted that such initiatives not only solve environmental problems but also foster a responsible attitude towards the environment.
— The cleanliness of the environment depends on each of us. Such actions not only improve the ecological situation but also unite people around a common goal — protecting nature, — said Yernat Abutayev, acting director of the Youth Resource Center of Bukhar-Zhyrau district.
The action went beyond the offline format. An online campaign "Start with Yourself" was organized on social media, involving youth, eco-activists, and bloggers. Posts with the hashtag #TazaKazakhstan drew the attention of a wide audience to issues of ecology and personal responsibility of each person.
The event was held within the framework of the national project "Taza Kazakhstan". Its main goal is to reduce the level of environmental pollution, involve residents in environmental projects, and create a comfortable and safe living environment.
According to the organizers, even such steps at the local level form an ecological culture in society and serve as a basis for large-scale changes.
