During the solemn ceremony at the Akorda Presidential Residence, the heads of state introduced the members of their official delegations to each other. The national anthems of Kazakhstan and Israel were played, highlighting the friendly ties between the two nations.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized the long-standing friendly relations since 1992, noting progress in economic cooperation and political dialogue. He also highlighted Kazakhstan's decision to join the Abraham Accords as a significant step toward supporting normalization efforts in the Middle East.
“There is great potential for cooperation between our countries. We are particularly interested in developing joint projects in the technology sector,” said President Tokayev.
In turn, Isaac Herzog described the visit as a great honor, recalling his father Chaim Herzog's visit to Kazakhstan in 1993. He expressed admiration for the country's culture and development, stressing the importance of expanding collaboration, especially in technology. He also welcomed Kazakhstan's decision to join the Abraham Accords.
