Tokayev expresses condolences on death of Mukhtar Shakhanov

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev expressed condolences on the death of poet, public figure, people's writer, Hero of Labor of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Shakhanov. This was reported by the press service of Akorda.

"Mukhtar Shakhanov was a unique personality who devoted his entire life to the art of words. He raised national poetry to new heights, expanded the horizons of national literature and culture. As a person sincerely concerned about the fate of his native language, he stood at the origins of many important initiatives in this field.
