Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has signed two important laws. The first is the law on ratification of the Agreement on interaction of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) member states in the exchange of radiation monitoring data. This document aims to strengthen environmental security in the region and ensure rapid response in emergency situations.
The second law ratifies the Agreement on strategic partnership in the production and transmission of green energy between the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the Republic of Uzbekistan. This step is focused on developing clean energy in Central Asia and deepening regional cooperation.
According to the Akorda press service, the full texts of the laws will be published in the press.
