A United Nations worker, Kandice Ardiel, has filmed a video diary showing life in the conflict zone in southern Lebanon, reports Todayinfo news agency.
Israeli army attacks destroyed her apartment in the city of Tyre, forcing Ardiel to move into a UN office in Naqoura. In the video, she describes the hardships of life under fire: forced evacuations, nearby explosions, and having to leave her cat behind.
“We live under constant bombardment. Death threatens us every second. But we continue our work,” Ardiel says.
The video diary was published on Al Jazeera. Kandice Ardiel works with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon.
