A military equipment exhibition will be organized in Astana in honor of Victory Day, reports Todayinfo.
The exhibition will take place on May 9th near the Defender of the Fatherland Monument. This event will provide residents and guests of the capital with an opportunity to view modern military equipment.
According to the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan, during the holidays, ministry representatives and a military orchestra will personally visit and congratulate every veteran of the Great Patriotic War. This gesture signifies profound respect for their heroic deeds.
Furthermore, a one-time payment was provided to 3398 Astana residents for Victory Day. This social support measure aims to enhance the festive spirit.
May 7th – Defender of the Fatherland Day will commence with a parade concert in front of the Baiterek Monument (from 12:00 to 12:30). This segment of the festive events promises to be particularly spectacular.
At 15:00, a military orchestra will march through the city streets: musicians will start from the Kenesary Khan monument, proceed along the embankment and across the Atyrau bridge, concluding their procession with a concert in the Central Park.
In addition, concerts will be organized near the Defender of the Fatherland Monument, Zhastar Palace, the city akimat, and the Bauyrzhan Momyshuly monument. A festive atmosphere will permeate throughout Astana.
