Severe frosts are expected in several regions of Kazakhstan in the coming days, reports Todayinfo. According to RSE "Kazhydromet," temperatures will significantly drop in the northern and eastern parts of the country.
According to forecasters' predictions, in the North Kazakhstan, East Kazakhstan, Kostanay, and Pavlodar regions, air temperatures at night may fall to -25-30 degrees Celsius, and in some places even to -35 degrees Celsius. Frost will also persist during the day, hovering around -15-20 degrees Celsius.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) advises the public and drivers to take precautions. It is recommended to refrain from long trips, dress warmly, and check the condition of vehicles.
During frosty days, it is important not to leave electric heaters unattended to avoid overloading heating systems. Warnings were also issued about possible black ice and blizzards on the roads.
