In 2026, Kazakhstan plans to finance 24 air routes, including tourist flights, reports Todayinfo news agency.
During the summer period, authorities plan to operate flights to tourist destinations in Balkhash, Usharal, and Urzhar from Astana and Almaty. "Within the framework of the program for subsidizing regular air routes for 2026, 24 routes are provided, including tourist ones," the ministry added.
According to the plan, implementation could improve transport accessibility of resort areas and contribute to the development of domestic tourism.
