At the UN General Assembly plenary session in New York, a historic climate package was adopted. Out of 193 countries, 187 expressed support.
Under the new agreement, developed countries are obliged to reduce emissions by 50% by 2035, and developing countries by 30%.
The package includes technology transfer and financial support for developing countries. The total amount is 800 billion dollars.
