Kazakhstan has started testing artificial intelligence and drones in the construction industry. This was announced by Minister of Industry and Construction Ersayin Nagaspayev at a government meeting, reports Todayinfo news agency.
According to him, a pilot project using computer vision and AI has been launched at the planning and urban development stage. The system analyzes objects and compares them with approved project documentation.
“This reduces the time to detect discrepancies from three working days to four hours and minimizes the risks of illegal construction,” Nagaspayev said.
The minister also said that drones will be launched in cities. “In parallel, together with Kazakhtelecom, work is underway to use drones to create digital twins of cities,” he added.
