«Yelsunkar, Ultkyran, Satmor»: Blogger shows descendants of Mukhtar Shakhanov

Yesterday, the Kazakh poet-akyn Mukhtar Shakhanov passed away, and the nation bid farewell to another patriot, reports Todayinfo.kz news agency. After this, many want to learn more about the poet's descendants. A user named Bekzat Sattarkhan said he visited the poet's native village in Turkistan Region and met with his family members. According to him, Mukhtar Shakhanov's family has 9 grandchildren from two sons – 5 boys and 4 girls. The poet's sons Rauan passed away in 2021, and Kuanysh in 2025. Kuanysh has two children – Yelkanat and Nurmerei. In the video published by Bekzat, the poet's younger daughter-in-law, Rauan's wife Zhanagul, and their children – Adil, Nurmukhammed, Ultkyran, Yelsunkar, as well as daughters Satmor, Asyl, Balnur – are shown. According to him, all grandchildren strive to be worthy successors of the noble family, they are young people with fire in their eyes. Netizens also expressed warm wishes to the poet's descendants and expressed confidence that they will continue their grandfather's work. It should be noted that Mukhtar Shakhanov passed away at the age of 84. He was buried in his homeland – near the Otyrar district.
