The Ministry of Internal Affairs announced the start of the operational-preventive measure "Legal Order". During this period, the number of patrols and checks in Almaty will increase, reports Todayinfo news agency.
According to the department, employees will switch to an enhanced mode. The main goal is to ensure public safety, prevent offenses, and monitor the situation on the city's roads.
"During the period of the operational-preventive measure, police officers will serve in an enhanced mode. Special attention will be paid to preventing offenses in public places, suppressing street crime, and ensuring road safety," the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
