German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said the US has no clear exit strategy with their war on Iran. He warned that “an entire nation is being humiliated by the Iranian leadership”.
The statement came as US military operations against Iran intensify. According to Merz, Washington lacks concrete goals and a plan to end the conflict, further destabilizing the region.
“We are seeing an entire nation being humiliated by the Iranian leadership. A clear strategy is needed to end this situation,” Merz said.
The German chancellor called on the international community to seek a diplomatic solution. He warned that prolonged US military action could worsen the humanitarian catastrophe in the region.
