Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has arrived in Russia and will hold a meeting with President Vladimir Putin. The visit is aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between Tehran and Moscow and discussing regional security issues.
Araghchi blamed the US for the lack of progress in talks to end the war against Iran. According to him, Washington is hindering a diplomatic solution. This situation has further strained relations between Iran and the US.
"The US is not showing genuine intent in talks to end the war against Iran. Together with Russia, we will consider ways to ensure stability in the region," Araghchi said.
The sides are expected to discuss Iran's nuclear program, conflicts in the Middle East, and economic cooperation during the meeting. This visit marks a new stage in strategic partnership between Iran and Russia.
