Presidents of Kazakhstan and Israel hold meeting in narrow format

Presidents of Kazakhstan and Israel hold meeting in narrow format

In Akorda, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Israeli President Isaac Herzog held a meeting in a narrow format, reports Todayinfo news agency.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev welcomed the Israeli leader on his official visit to Kazakhstan, highlighting the close friendly relations between the two countries since 1992. The President noted significant results in economic and political cooperation.

“Your respected father, Chaim Herzog, former President of the State of Israel, was one of the main architects of relations between our countries. For many years, since 1992, we have maintained very close, exceptionally friendly relations. Significant results have been achieved in our mutual cooperation, primarily in the economy and politics. Kazakhstan has decided to join the Abraham Accords. This step symbolizes our readiness to contribute to stabilizing relations between the countries of the Middle East and Israel,” said Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

Isaac Herzog called his presence in Akorda a great honor and a continuation of his father's legacy, who visited Kazakhstan in 1993. He expressed admiration for Kazakhstan's nature and culture, as well as his intention to develop partnership in high technology. The Israeli President welcomed Kazakhstan's decision to join the Abraham Accords.
