June Brent crude futures on the London ICE Futures exchange rose 1.11% to $106.5 per barrel, reports Todayinfo.
June WTI futures on the NYMEX also increased by 0.83% to $95.18 per barrel. Earlier in the session, Brent reached $108.5, while WTI hit $97.11 per barrel.
The rise in oil prices may be driven by geopolitical tensions and supply disruptions. Analysts note that the market remains volatile.
