Kazakh fifth-grader Turman Amanzhol took second place at the international FIRST LEGO League Singapore 2026 championship held in Singapore, reports Todayinfo citing the TAMOS Education International school.
The student competed in the March competition representing Kazakhstan and became a silver medalist and cup winner. This achievement is a continuation of his regional successes.
Earlier, Amanzhol took third place at the Central Asia FIRST Championship 2026, winning his team a spot at the FLL China Champion 2026 tournament. This competition will be held in August in Beijing, where he will again compete as part of the Kazakhstan team.
In addition, last year he took first place in the individual XCEL Pobotixcel competition in Los Angeles. According to school representatives, such successes demonstrate the importance of education in STEM fields.
